This painting examines the age old conflict that began with the fall of Lucifer and has continuedfor over 6,000 years.

The large center canvas addresses various subtleties in a painterly fashion. The cartoons, four smaller canvasses on each side of the large canvas, are the backbone of this work. Each cartoon scene depicts a major pivotal point in the conflict between God and Satan.

Top Canvas, left side, pivotal point no. 1: Sin enters into Satan. Pridefully, he sees himself as equal to God. Symbols and Theomatic (value of numbers) carry the three Heaven scenes.

Top Canvas, right side, pivotal point no. 2: Satan leads a rebellion in Heaven.

Top Canvas, left side, second line, pivotal point no. 3: God now declares war on Satan and his angels. The next scene depicts an unknown period of time, from the beginning of Satan's rebellion until ... Next scene, pivotal point no. 4, shows a world without form, or void, leading to the seven days of creation. Each succeeding scene is a pivotal point in this conflict.

Bottom Canvas, right side: The story ends with a tranquil view of Heaven. Peace is restored; spears become pruning hooks. From envy to honor, the nations of earth now turn toward Jerusalem, seeking wisdom. From Death to Resurrection, the perpetuity of the Davidic Kingdom is established. Peace at last.

As you scan the cartoons, notice, after the fall in the garden (apple), I don't use color but resort to black and white, indicating Man lost a higher dimension at the fall.

 

lsa. 14:13-14 - (Scene in Heaven) Satan thinks: I will exalt myself to be like God -I will take the highest throne.					Ezk. 28:15-17 - Satan and one-third ofthe.angels rebel against God's role.
luke 10:18 - God zaps Satan.	*	Gen. 1-2 Earth without form or void.	Gen. 13:3-37 - Six days of creation.		Gen 3:16 - Serpents deceives Eve.	Gen. 3:13-19 - (Expelled from Garden - To indicate estrangement from God, an absence of color.
Gen. 3:12 - First blood shed to provide cover to man - points to Jesus' blood.		Gen. 3:15 - God declares war - seed of woman shall crush your head, you shall bruise his heel.			Gen. 6:1-2 -Satan seeks, by a supernatural union between demons and the daughters of men, to corrupt the entire human race, rendering impossible the birth of Jesus.
God must now destroy all mankind, except Noah's uncontaminated family, because the human genetic design must not be compromised.					Jude 6, 7 - This particular group of wicked angels has been put in everlasting chains until Judgment Day so they do not repeat this diabolic scheme.

Gen. 12:3 - When God calls Abraham. satan now knows the people that will produce the Messiah.					Both Sarah and Rebekah (Gen. 25:21) were barren until God intervenes. Satan attempts to exterminate the Nation of Israel by scattering them among the gentiles. Assimilation and brutal persecution from Egypt to Rome failed. luke 2:1-6 - Now Satan attempts to destroy mother and seed_ Satan enters Judas to destroy the Messiah (lUke 22:3).
Gen. 3:15 is fulfilled	This is where we are today. Christ, ready to rescue anyone who will avail himself to a "life preserver." Satan rears back prepared to throw a Molotov cocktain into the world.	"The rapture" - all who trusted in John 3:15 (life preserver) are caught up into the air. The seven year Tribulation Period...			Begins as the saved enter Heaven. The world goes up in flames for seven years.	At the end of 7 years Satan is thrown into prison for 1000 years	God now hands out rewards to the saved.
					A time like there never was, nor will be again.
"The Millennium", 1000 years of peace. Christ will ruthe the earth.	A short period of time, when Satan will be set free to again deceive those born during the Millennium.	The great white throne judgement where the lost are now raised from the dead to be judged.	Satan, now impotent, is cast into the lake of fire for all eternity by a mighty angel.		Harmony is again restored in Heaven.
